What is RTD Next Gen?

RTD Next Gen is an innovative system redesign plan that will transform San Joaquin Regional Transit District’s (RTD) existing service offerings to meet the changing mobility needs of riders in San Joaquin County. During the process, RTD aims to understand the evolving preferences, travel patterns, and concerns of the community in order to ensure a sustainable transit network. There will be several opportunities for you to get involved and be a part of the plan development process including a virtual community workshop, online surveys, onboard passenger surveys, virtual open houses, and public hearings.

Purpose & Goals
